Fantastic Farmers
You're in for a treat this summer term as our children will become entrepreneur's, designing and producing their own yogurt!
We will be learning how plants grow and what happens to food as it journeys from farm to fork. We will be exploring all the different jobs and roles involved in food produce from the farmer to the milk man and hopefully meet some people to interview!
Then it's time to get down to business as we set out growing our own ingredients, considering nutrition when designing recipes, using market research to test ideas out with potential consumers, working within a budget when buying additional ingredients, learning knife skills when making their products, calculating expected profit, designing responsible packaging and much much more!!
Finally we hope you can join us for our yogurt cafe launch at the end of the term!
