Under The Sea - Spring Term 2022
This term our topic is 'Under the Sea!' We will be learning all about different types of sea creatures - those that can be found in the deepest parts of the ocean as well as creatures that can be found in rock pools. We will find out all about plastic pollution and what we can do to help.
In literacy we will be reading many sea themed stories including 'The Rainbow Fish', 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' and 'Sharing a Shell'.
We are hoping to visit the aquarium and the beach during the course of this topic.
To end the topic, we will be taking inspiration from 'Bertie the Bass', built from plastic and displayed in Amroth, and making our own sea creatures from used plastic. Our designs will be displayed for parents to see in our very own gallery!
