Rock Steady Workshop
Year 5 have participated in `Rock Steady` workshops throughout the Spring term. Inline with the new Curriculum for Wales, this was a 'hands-on' practical topic, where the pupils were able to demonstrate their creative skills, as well as their independence and resilience. All pupils had the opportunity to create their own band and played either the guitar, keyboard or drums or sang vocals. Each group worked with Iestyn (our Rock Steady tutor) for half an hour every week. whilst the rest of the class workd to create their own band merchandise, logo and group name etc. The pupil performed in a concert for parents in at the end of the Spring term and demonstrated all they had achieved.
