YEAR 4 HAVE THEIR FOLK DANCING SHOES ON 👞👞
This week Year 4 had a wonderful time Folk dancing and learning about traditional Welsh instruments.
YNYSOWEN ARCHEOLOGISTS TAKE ON CYFARTHA CASTLE!
Year 4 had a wonderful time at Cyfartha Castle today learning about the Egyptians. They looked at the process of mummification and got to see lots of artefacts all the way from Egypt. #Archeologists
MEASURING OUR LUNG CAPACITY.
This week Year 4 have been learning about how to measure capacity in Maths. They then used these skills in Science when carrying out a fun investigation which involved them measuring their own lung capacity.
YEAR 4 HAS TALENT!
Year 4 enjoyed presenting their theme parks to the class this week!
Move over Simon Cowell, Year 4 have lots of talent when it comes to presentations and peer assessing!
OUTDOOR LEARNING
Year 4 have been using the 8 compass points to find clues which lead them to Tutankhamun's tomb.

Year 4 exploring Egypt using VR headsets!
MEASURING TEMPERATURES.
Year 4 using thermometers this week to check the temperature of various areas around the school.
ROCK STEADY!
Over the past few months Year 4 have been working with the company ROCK STEADY to become ROCKSTARS! They made their own band names and logos, created persuasive posters to advertise their band and interviewed their band mates about touring the world.
The children have absolutely enjoyed every single minute and will be talking about it for a long long time! 😁😁😁
SINGLE STEPS
The children have demonstrated excellent team work skills during their time working with Single Steps! They have spent 2 weeks researching, designing and building their very own Manhatten Skyline! Da iawn pawb!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
