Battle of the Dinosaurs

 

Some of them have huge long necks and some have giant jaws so let's learn all about the different dinosaurs!

 

In this topic, the children will go on a learning journey to find out about dinosaurs. Different types of dinosaurs, when and where they lived, what they ate and how to care for a lost dinosaur egg.

 

We will use the books ‘Dinosaurs Galore’, ‘10 Little Dinosaurs’ ‘Stomp, chomp, big roars here come the dinosaurs’ and many more titles to immerse the children in everything dinosaur related.

 

The final focus of the project will be a museum themed event for parents to view their child's learning journey through our Battle of the Dinosaurs topic, exhibiting their clay fossils, their own fantasy dinosaur, Andy Warhol inspired art, dinosaur fact book etc.
