Summer 2025 - Fantastic Farmers

 

Fantastic Farmers!

This term we will be learning all about the farm! What happens on a farm? Where does our food come from? What can we grow in our polytunnel? 

 

Throughout this topic the children will learn all about planting and growing, healthy food, life cycles and where our food comes from.

We will look at a variety of farm themed storybooks during this topic such as:

 

        

The children will be provided the opportunity to hatch chicks from eggs in class, meet horses, goats and alpacas in school and visit a farm where they will take part in feeding lambs, petting animals and even enjoy a tractor ride!
