Spring Term
Muck, Mess and Mixtures
During our topic this term, children will have the opportunity to get messy and learn that muck and mess can be good. Children will have the opportunity to play with liquids, squish some dough and check out the slushiest and mushiest foods.
As a final project parents will be invited to school to view the work the children have made!
Summer Term
Fantastic Farmers!
This term, our project will take children through each stage of setting up a farm shop business: deciding which crop to grow, growing their own ingredients, considering nutrition when designing their recipes, using market research to test their ideas out with potential consumers, working within a budget when buying additional ingredients, learning knife skills when making their products, calculating expected profit, designing responsible packaging and much more!
